Recent engagements have focused on profit improvement processes in a number of manufacturing and distribution companies including a $250 million manufacturer and distributor of specialty security locks and systems, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards and a contract filler of soaps and other liquid products for Fortune 500 companies. He has also served on the boards of several privately held companies. Prior to joining Horizon Advisors LLC, he had seven year tenure with Buccino & Associates, Inc. a national corporation specializing in crisis management and turnaround consulting services. During this period, he managed the successful turnarounds as interim President/CEO of a $22 million metal bending corporation headquartered in Toledo, Ohio and subsequently, as the interim President/CEO of a $50 million Michigan based wholesaler/distributor of millwork products to the retailer DIY market. Prior to becoming a crisis management consultant, Mr. Lederer held various positions (1965 to 1989) with the American National Can Company, a $4.3 billion packaging conglomerate owned by Pechiney, S.A. Paris, France. He rose to President – Closure Division, where he was responsible for sales and operations of four domestic closure manufacturing plants (500 employees) and a Canadian subsidiary. Mr. Lederer began his career in 1960 with Chicago based Atlantic Brewing Company as Manager – Operations, and rose to the position Vice President Operations with responsibility for the operations of two plants with 250 employees. Mr. Lederer graduated cum laude from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and performed graduate work at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. 10 South Riverside Plaza Suite
